Ps. Miss you already

Briar, a 25 year old pianist born in America moves to Paris to pursue a career playing piano at a men's blues bar, has a 4 year old son and lives in a grungy old apartment she can barely afford. Briar came from a reasonably financially well set up family and has always led a very sensible life until she met a bad group of people in college leading her to make the mistake of a one night stand. This led to Louis' birth and a college dropout who continues to pursue a career in piano playing.

A lady down the hall who never leaves her apartment (at least to anyone's knowledge) seems to be your average old lady with a lack of social skills when really she is a very rich woman who inherited property and substantial amounts of money from her grandfather she was very close to. She grew up with the expensive lifestyle but had a traumatic experience with money and refuses to live the high life any longer (heinz the grungy apartment).

Louis somehow connects briar to a lady down the hall of their apartment who ends up baby sitting on occasion and sometimes making dinner. She gets to know briar and louis sharing snippets of her life she had never spoken to anyone and they build a beautiful connection.
