What would you do if you woke up one day and found out your life was a dream? Everyone you've ever known, everything you've ever had, just disappeared? Even your name is different now. How could you function? How could you go on with a life you've never known?
When Iris Parker wakes up from a year-long coma, she can't remember anything. Well, apart from the dream life she created in her mind while she was unconscious. The world she thought she knew-the world of Violet Lobben- ceased to exist. Her parents beg her to try and remember her old life, but she is having none of it. Fed up with her "real" family, she decides to take a road trip to a small town in Minnesota in order to find the life she knew. Joining her is the only person who has seemed to want to help her. Beck Warren, her "real life" best friend. But memories of her dream start fading, and she begins to remember things about Iris's life. Things she may not be prepared to lose.

Nothing could compare to the way her gaze made me feel. The flames licking my skin and the raging fire in my veins was way more bearable.
