Zelda is a typical 20-year-old living in Pompeii Italy. However, one fate full day, her world is turned upside down when Mount Vesuvius erupts throwing her world into chaos.

Enjoy while you can. I'm writing this for an anthology so it won't be up long.

She has hope he's still alive, clinging onto a note he wrote her on their final night together, though when she finds him, things aren't exactly as they seem... Quick PSA: I wrote this story from start to finish in about a month and a half, during a very busy time. It's not perfect; this is basically a first draft and in my second draft I'll be tying up many plotholes and spending much more time on it, instead of just trying to write from A-B. However, given the time constraints, I'm really proud of this. Any feedback, good or bad is super helpful!
