That secret is that she could control nature. And not just flowers and dirt, she could control the weather and water. Her mother, Mary, could control the weather (and water) and her father, Richard, could control earth.
So maybe she wasn't so average. And you'd think that she loved her powers, that she loved being so different from other people. Fact is, she hated it with a passion.
