Fate.

Quite twisted isn't it?
It pushes you to your worst, and when it finally brings you back to the light, the darkness somehow always finds its way through.

That's one way to describe Annabelle's life. Another one being her desire for love, a love that's pure, a love that's true and a love that lasts.

Desires are meant to be fulfilled. But one doesn't always get what they want.

Growing up with a father, almost as sadistic and vicious as fate itself; Xavier had come to terms with hating the sole idea of mates.

Was there any hope for a bond that had been built on nothing but broken hopes? Probably not.

However, when everything starts falling apart, Anne and Xavier may just realize how important their broken bond truly is.

They say the bond of two mates is strong enough to overcome all barriers. Would this bond be able to overcome the barrier separating these two or would it crush them under their own barrier?

*Book Two Of The Federation Series* It is said that the moon goddess created supernatural beings that gain strength from the moon, creatures of the night. Werewolves were the first supernatural beings created. They were her favorite and most cherished of all the supernaturals because they were the most loyal and obedient of all her children. The moon goddess looked favorably upon the Weres, blessing them in many ways. For hundreds of years, they prospered and basked in the goddess's love. Then over time, Werewolves became disobedient and arrogant. Many did not want to have to settle for their destined mate, they wanted the option to choose who they took as a mate. Rejecting one's mate became a common practice, one that greatly displeased the goddess. With the help of her vessel, she proclaimed that rejecting your mate is a crime against her and should be punished henceforth. The elders fully agreed and rejecting one's mate soon became illegal, bringing about an end to the act. But one Werewolf male thought himself above the law. Because he was of royal blood, he felt the law shouldn't apply to him and he did the unthinkable. He not only rejected his beautiful and sweet mate Aubrielle, but he also imprisoned and tortured her. His crime came with a hefty price, one that was used as an example for generations to come. ************************ Though it is not necessary to read Secrets Of The Past before this one, It might be a good idea to do so since there are things in that book that will help understand some things in this one. ************************ Rated: Everyone. Due to claims of books being removed because they were found inappropriate, (Not sure how true this is) I have decided to keep foul language to a minimum. There will be no sexual content either. I want my books to be enjoyed, not removed. Hope everyone enjoys reading my works! Completed on 4/25/2022

24 parts Complete Mature

She was a human, clueless to the supernatural world. She worked helping troubled youth, and loved helping people. She had chronic illnesses, and was constantly at doctor's appointments. She loved reading cliche werewolf stories on her phone. He was an Alpha oblivious to her existence. He was 30, and had assigned his Beta's son to take over when he retired. He never found his mate, and him and his wolf accepted this, and took the role as both Alpha and Luna. Another Alpha was kidnapping humans and trying to turn them. He wanted more pack slaves/pets, and since turned humans were weaker, he could control them easier. He had is eyes set on her. "Ho-how is this possible? You can't be this!" He stuttered as he stared at her freshly turned wolf. She growled in response. "Doesn't matter, I'll break both of you." He smirked.
