Then we have Elijah Romero, the boy with a glass that's always half-empty. With his sarcastic comments and rude remarks he is pretty much Marley's polar opposite. His dark past continues to haunt him and to the outside world he comes off as a boy that hates almost everyone and everything surrounding him.
When Marley and Elijah meet, Elijah takes an immediate dislike towards Marley. All he sees is an annoyingly cheerful girl that has never experienced any hardship in life.
