Now Emmy is back, she lost contact with all her friends. However her friend, Elena never stopped trying to contact her. Now that Emmy is back, Elena introduces her to Damon and Stefan Salvatore as well as reconnects her with her old friends.

Emmy had learned about vampires and werewolves while she moved away. Elena filled Emmy in all things Originals, including Niklaus Mikaelson the vampire-werewolf hybrid.
