This is the story of how my miserable, homeless pathetic ass happened to snag a job working for one of the biggest crime bosses in the city.
Or at least the richest.
And the sexiest. But I mean, that's not the point.
The point is that I went from using my looks and charm (or lack thereof) to get me a couch to sleep on every night, to waking up in a gorgeous apartment, with a hunky billionaire for a crime boss, a sexy and brooding former athlete for a personal trainer, and tall, dark and sometimes scary enigma for an attorney. "Leave us alone," Joey says, sounding dangerous and snapping me out of my thoughts. The levity of the situation hits-we need to get out of here. I look around for a route of escape and thankfully I see a light, literally, at the end of the second tunnel. I let out a small, almost inaudible, gasp and nudge Joey. He looks at me and I subtly gesture with my head to the second tunnel. He glances at it and immediately we are on the same page. His jaw sets and he looks at the group.
