It sounds ever so cliché… two adorable elementary school kids falling in love at a young age, growing up together, and eventually getting married. It seems like everyone would rejoice at that happy ending for the couple in the end, right?
Not for Olivia Redford and Ian Halsing. When they’ve only just became friends, Olivia’s parents decide on a move across town, and the two lose touch. Ian grows older without her, not realizing the influence she might have had on his life. When the two cross paths again, their lives are very different. Ian has turned to drugs and alcohol as a scapegoat; and Olivia has remained a cautious, innocent young lady.
Regardless, Olivia still finds herself falling for him (again). But this time her attraction isn’t returned. On a night that Olivia will never forget, Ian takes something from Olivia that can’t be regained, and her life is changed for what seems like forever.
When her best friend Kaylen does the unthinkable by spilling her secret, Olivia could never be more wroth. She disregards her once loved friend for good. But that spilled secret has great and powerful repercussions: Olivia has the opportunity to find a better love in someone else.
Can everything become new again? Will she finally make things right? Or will Olivia remain closed and sheltered within her shame?
