Magnolia has never had the life she should've had. It wasn't written in her cards. Her dysfunctional family built on lies and appearing as perfect as they can make it seem only want to tear her down. Using Magnolia as a pawn, a pawn to make them appear better. Struggling with multiple mental illnesses, untreated, Magnolia makes the gut-wrenching decision to end it all. Unsuccessful, she then ends up in a psych ward for a year. But recovery isn't always as glorious as it sounds, sometimes, people never recover. ***TW; Talk of mental illness, suicide, and abuse is talked about in this book!! If you're triggered by any of those, this book may not be for you. I will put trigger warnings in the chapters that go into any kind of detail about any of these topics. *Note; All characters and situations are completely fiction. Any similarities are coincidences and are not connected in any way. *Note; Book cover designed by me, if you have any ideas for a different/better one, dm me !! Picture is of Elle Fanning from "Ginger & Rosa"

Those who fail are luckily given a second chance to prove themselves, where they are allowed to be raised in dorms that are ostracized from the rest of society. They have eighteen years as they live with six other girls, separated into dorms and ages and gender. Kenna is sixteen, two more years from becoming eighteen where she will be retested to see if she can go back to living into the perfect society and find her place once again. Although her best friend, Lina, has mysteriously betrayed her for unknown reasons, where she is sent away to the Adjustment Center, a place that seems doomed for failure where everyone who has broken the rules are casted out to... PS: I wrote this five years ago (it is complete) and it's unedited so it may be written badly! The synopsis may be a bit different than the actual story, and this is supposed to be gxg but it isn't exactly a love story but there are some elements of it... - Very toxic and emotional damage so read at your own risk! - TW: Homophobia, manipulation, death
