One shots involving human reader and their interactions with the Skseksis. The Skseksis are selfish and cruel but they are fully capable of feeling emotion and do get attached to things. This got me thinking that it would be theoretically possible for the Skeksis to feel love, although I think it would a little twisted due to their way of thinking. I was thinking about how the creatures of thra would respond to a human.  I started playing with this idea and this is the result of it.  I thought it was so unusual and wired that I wanted to share it here.

In a world, a long, long time ago, lived a crystal. The lands flourished and bloomed until the crystal cracked, the shard lost to time. There came two races with the crystal cracked, the Skeksis and the Mystics. With both races dying, only one could save them. His name was Keith, the last known living Gelfling. He was the chosen one. And he has no clue. NOTE: This takes place in the Dark Crystal universe but still has my own twists to it. I'm basing this story solely off the movie and my own imagination. Starlight(real ones know where I got this idea)- Skrill electrical charge and stream, highly protective. Eats eels mainly enjoys other foods and loves metals! Doesn't like people who get close to you plus she at one point when you got sad hunted people down. AU- Skrills often bond with some. irn or something could be anything from a sheep to a piece of metal they like. change of pov's often first person (I, we,) Y/N the daredevil this is explained in the story!

"No, no, no, no! Frick." I desperately tried to grab the remains of the crystal, causing one to cut my hand. "Ow! Shit." I whispered, looking at my bleeding hand. "Tch, tch, tch, poor child." A demonic voice said. I looked up and saw that the black smog had two red eyes and a wide, sick smile that was dripping with venom. "I- who are you?" I asked, backing up. "The one who can help you out of here." It said, stretching out a hand. I looked it up and down and before I could answer, its hand plunged into my heart, causing me to scream out in pain.
