Ang haiku, tanka at tanaga ay mga halimbawa ng uri ng tula. Ang haiku ay may tatlong taludtod na may kabuuang sukat na 17. Ang tanka naman ay may limang taludtod na may kabuuang sukat na 31. Panghuli, ang tanaga naman ay may apat na taludtod na may pito, walo o di kaya'y siyam na sukat kada taludtod.

Ang haiku ay isang uri ng maikling tula na mula sa bansang Japan.
Ito ay may tatlong taludtod na may kabuuang sukat na 17.
Ang karaniwang sukat ng mga taludtod nito ay 5-7-5.
Ang karaniwang paksa ng mga haiku ay kalikasan.
Tanka
Kagaya ng haiku, ang tanka ay isa ring uri ng maikling tula na mula sa bansang Japan.
Ito ay may limang taludtod na may kabuuang sukat na 31.
Tatlo sa mga taludtod nito ay may sukat na 7 pantig, samantalang ang dalawang taludtod ay may sukat na 5 pantig.
Ang karaniwang paksa ng mga tanka ay damdamin, pag-ibig, at iba pang emosyon.
Tanaga
Taliwas sa haiku at tanka, ang tanaga naman ay nagmula sa Pilipinas. Ito'y waring haiku ng Pilipinas.
Ito ay may apat na taludtod.
Ang bawat taludtod ay karaniwang sukat na pito, walo o di kaya'y siyam.
Ang tanaga ay naglalaman ng mga matatalinghagang kahulugan.
