Arielle Wright is what one might call "Talented and Gifted," or TAG, as it is referred to in the school system. She just never to what degree this applied.

When a terrible series of accidents leave Arielle with two deceased parents and an immeasurable amount of guilt, she flees to TAG Academy in hopes that she might be able to control the terrible abilities she's been blessed with. However, when kidnappings start occurring without the support of concern from anyone else, Arielle discovers that maybe her gifts aren't so awful after all. If she can save everyone she cares about with them, perhaps they never were.

Carol is dropped into the plot of her favourite crime novel as a tragic side character with the same name. The character who shared her name was an unfortunate cannon fodder who died to advance the plot and further, the protagonist's drive to solve the crime and avenge his junior officer who was murdered by the final boss. Carol was only mentioned briefly. Maybe a total of 5 lines were used to describe her. She was an intern at the station fresh out of the police academy at the ripe age of 19. She wasn't even aware of the main case that the plot revolved around. The only reason to explain her death was being at the wrong place at the wrong time, which caused her to bump directly into the main villain as he was escaping the protagonist's chase midway through the book. The villain took her hostage as he noted her badge and lack of protective equipment and then killed her when the protagonist tried to negotiate terms rather than simply accepting his demands. Although the villain pulled the trigger, Carol couldn't help cursing out the protagonist when she read this scene as she felt he was equally responsible for her death. Carol ended up finishing the book anyway and as she read the last chapter a sense of frustration overcame her and she left a 'strongly worded' comment for the author, cursing out the protagonist as stupid and irresponsible, she preached that there was no reason to have killed off a 19-year-old girl like Carol (from the book) the way they did and how if a person with common sense faced that situation the girl would have lived. So when Carol awoke in the young girl's body, she had a few thoughts: what the hell is happening? how do I avoid dying? can I speed up the plot to save more lives? Along the way, Carol discovers a surprising ability hidden in the cannon fodders DNA. She has a mystical ability to physically see when a person lies and the actual truth. I'll update as soon as the writers block leaves me be.

"Have you found her yet?!" a man sitting on chair asks impatiently. "No, my lord," the soldier says bowing his head. "Well what are you doing here then?" asks the man with anger. "Um- well." "Well are you going to answer or are you just going to stand there like a fool!" he says rudely. "Ah well you see. There are a lot of guards around her and we...the soldiers don't know how to get past all of them without being seen." "So make a plan. I give you one job and you can't do it yourself. You should pity yourself!" the man says standing up abruptly making the chair fall. "Well we do have a plan, my lord." "Okay," the man says staring at the soldier, "Tell me!" he adds when the soldier stays quiet. "We were wondering if we could kill them all by making a trap." "Okay then kill them," the man says with no mercy. "Yes, my lord. We will leave tomorrow," the soldier says bowing his head and leaves. ______________________________ When Arielle gets kidnapped by her mate, she is introduced to a completely new world that changes her life forever. "I already killed your mother, Cam." As the words left my enemy's mouth like a mocking sneer, I growled under my breath at the mention of my old name. Memories started to boil up that I had been wanting to squash deep into my heart. Bad memories. "As you can guess, I'm here to finish the job." He continued with that ever-present sinister smirk on his face. And in that moment, a sudden burst of confidence just appeared within me. Or blatant stupidity. 'I'll take either one.' I silently admitted to myself. I rolled my eyes at his so-called 'threat', not really intimidated in the least. "Yeah, like that went so well the first time. The first time, you fucked up enough to get caught by the police." I pointed out. "The second time, your grown-ass men got their asses handed to them by two teenagers." I snorted at him. "Your odds aren't looking too good here, Berti." ~•~ Losing her father? Lovely. Getting in a car accident with her aunt, uncle, and cousin and being the sole survivor? Fantastic. Losing her mother because a deranged psychopath holds a grudge even better than The Grinch? Amazing. Being ostracized from her own family save from her paternal grandparents, and getting the blame for her mother's death? Cherry on top of the cake. Having to make sure three idiotic twats don't get themselves killed because they couldn't mind their own bloody business? Bloody hell, that's an entire ice cream cake with ten pounds of gummy bears. ~•~ Join Grace Stanton as she faces her demons and the demons of her past all while trying not to commit murder against her three new friends. I woke up in a coffin. Buried alive. I remember everything. The suffocating darkness. The taste of dirt. The sound of my own, muffled screams. But the man who dug me up wasn't a savior. He was the monster who put me there. He calls himself Hawk. He's an arrogant, cold-blooded sociopath in a bespoke suit, and he just claimed me as his new... acquisition. His mansion is a pristine, glass-and-steel prison, and I am his new project. He calls it "training." I call it torture. He's a meticulous artist, and I am his new masterpiece. Every touch is a test. Every command is a lesson in degradation. Every punishment is designed to strip away the girl who was buried and forge a new, obedient doll in her place. He thinks he's in control. He thinks he's breaking me. He has no idea he's just sharpening his new favorite weapon. He wanted a pet. He's forging a viper. And this viper is learning to enjoy the taste of her master's blood. ________________________________________ A Note From the Author Welcome to The Requiem. This isn't a typical love story. This is a dark, depraved, secret-society romance. Before you enter, please be aware that this story is for readers who crave heroes who are unapologetic, irredeemable, touch-her-and-die monsters. This book is for you if you like: • A meticulous, "artist" hero who is a possessive, sociopathic stalker. • A heroine who isn't just a survivor. She's a monster . • Intense psychological "training," power-exchange, and degradation. • High-stakes, high-anxiety, and claustrophobic "buried alive" scenarios. • Angry, violent, and dubious sexual encounters. • Spanking, begging, leashes, and so much delicious humiliation. He didn't just break her. He forged her. Read at your own risk.

Rurihito never imagined his life would change so drastically overnight. The son of a debt-ridden and absent man, he was ripped from his quiet routine and thrown at the feet of Himeko Hanamura-an imposing, cold-blooded alpha and the leader of a powerful Yakuza faction. With no options left, Ruri accepts a contract of submission to pay off a debt that was never his, becoming the property of a woman who radiates danger and absolute control. But Himeko is more than just a ruthless boss-she watches him with a gaze that is both possessive and intrigued, testing his limits and pushing him into a world where he has no voice yet must learn to survive. What begins as a forced agreement soon turns into a battle of wills, where Ruri fights to hold onto his identity while becoming increasingly entangled in Himeko's overwhelming presence. In the underworld of crime and betrayal, where alliances are fragile and violence is law, Ruri and Himeko discover that their connection runs deeper than the contract they signed. But how thin is the line between desire and obsession? And when enemies close in, how far will Himeko go to keep Ruri by her side? Between dominance and surrender, love and power, they walk a dangerous path where the greatest risk isn't losing their freedom-but losing each other. --- Note: English is not my first language, so I appreciate your patience with any errors. I'm continuously learning and striving to improve. --- !Content Warning: One of the protagonists was born with a biological variation inspired by the concept of intersexuality, developed exclusively for the narrative's worldbuilding, which grants them a functional reproductive system aligned with their omega classification. This condition does not represent any real medical diagnosis and is treated naturally within the story, without being problematized by the characters or the plot. !This is the English version.
