Kacey has had enough.
She's tired of everything. She can't handle the girls at school anymore. All they do is jump her after school and beat her till she's purple. She's tired of the names boys call her, and the one popular boy who always loves to get a chance to hit her in the face.
One afternoon coming from school, she goes straight up to her room, taking all she has, putting it in a bag, and throwing it over her shoulder. She wants to walk out on her family, who don't know what is going on. But someone comes and tells her reasons why she shouldn't. Why she should stay. Why she is SOO important to the world. And that person ( or two ) is her guardian. The one who saved her from herself. The ones only she can see. The ones who gave her everything she needed that no one else gave. These ones lead her on a crazy adventure to find other people like herself. The people who can see them.
She certainly wasn't imagining them, not at all.
It's just that everyone was too blind to see them.
