Rite: a religious or other solemn ceremony or act.

Repeat: something that occurs or is done again.

Raven looked at the definitions she had written down, hunkered down in her seat in the public library. If she followed through with the ceremony, her 'rite of passage' everything would remain the same, the course would stay and someone would die, if she didn't follow through with it everything would change and it seemed that nothing was guaranteed in that line of vision.

Roman watched his sister from the passenger seat of their father's car, they were at the library so that Raven could finish her biology assignment but it seemed that her partner had stood her up. His brow furrowed he looked to his father for guidance, surely the man would know what to do seeing as he had a solution for everything.
