All Lon wanted was some food from a noble's party, but now an assassin sent by Death himself is on his tail.

The king holds supreme authority in the city of Renacyle, but the Scions rule the night. Men and women who traded a piece of their souls to Death in exchange for incredible power. No man, not even the king is safe from them. So when a simple street rat like Lon escapes from one's clutches, the whole city gets turned upside down.
