But slowly Shuichi realises that Kokichi is actually not the one he pretends to be. Kokichi has great doubts, but he wants to trust Shuichi. Because Shuichi gives Kokichi a special feeling that he hadn't felt for a long time. A sad but beautiful high school story. What will become of the two? Will Kokichi trust Shuichi? There's a catch though, Hajime isn't really like the others; he doesn't have an ultimate. Because of that, he thinks the others might look down on him. But there is one student that looks down on him the most, Nagito Komaeda: the ultimate lucky student. He believes since Hajime doesn't have a talent, he's not valid like everyone else and decides to put him down for something he can't control. Hajime just wants to be friends with everyone, but because this inconvenience he's very insecure about being around the others, and distances himself. Then Kazuichi Souda and Chiaki Nanami decide to include him since they feel bad, they just want him to be happy. Hajime starts to open up a bit after hanging out with them a lot, maybe with this new confidence he can get that one stubborn student to finally like him.
