I always wondered if one day that someone would get me out of this horrid place. If one day that I would find my family. If one day I would finally be happy again.    

My name is Sydney Kirey. I was taken from my family, my happiness, at the age of 6. My kidnapper took me too this horrid orphanage. The girls don't bother me a lot, but they do think they are better than me. I am now 16, I've been here for a long time and I haven't been adopted yet. I really wonder if my family is looking for me or just forgot about me. I always wanted that one day when I get adopted so I could find my family or just be happy.

The one day came, a family comes along and adopts me. But what happens when I find out this family has secrets? Deadly secrets. Big secrets. What if they chose me for a specific reason. A reason I never wanted to know. I soon come to wish, that the one day never came.

The leaving. It was hard, tragic , painful, yet it had to be done, I needed to save my life. I didn't want to start again, this would be the story of finding myself, pulling myself back together, reuniting the happy go lucky youngster I had once been. The shock of leaving took more of a toll on me than I thought it would. I had asked two people to help me move out of the house I had shared with my partner for 8 years, we had been together 23 years in total. The move was done in total secrecy, my partner could never know in advance, it was a very scary time. I had moved various things out of the house and secured a rent on a property nearby. The house I picked was near the School the children went to, and my oldest lad was going to be near his best friend.
