"Could I talk to you for a minute?" I went on to ask Stokeley as he sat alone in the basement with a blunt in hand.

"No."

"Here we go again.." I mumbled to myself, discreetly rolling my eyes.

"We just talked about this last night and you apologized, now we're back to square one."

"Don't care." He blew smoke from his nose.

"Alright." I nodded slowly.

"..and you know what, neither do I." I spoke up, tired of him and his shitty, weird attitudes. He was just a big ball of negative energy and I was sick of it. Mostly because all he was going to do was turn around and apologize then expect everyone to forgive him.

"Who you talking to like that?"

"You." I snapped, fed up as he looked up at me with his eyebrows raised.

The room grew silent, making this more dramatic than intended. He then stood to his feet, looking down at me with a scowl plastered on his face.

"You better watch yo' mother fucking mouth."

Deciding I wanted no trouble with him, I grabbed my stuff to go.

"Sierra, I'm leaving." I spoke once leaving out of the basement.

"Why? What's wrong?" She asked as she sat on the couch with Johnny in the living room.

"I'm tired of him and his shitty ass attitude." I spoke truthfully, pointing towards the basement door. I was done curving my tongue.

"Just because you lost someone important to you doesn't mean you can treat everyone around you like shit. We've all lost people."

Everyone looked at me with wide eyes as if they'd never expected me to be this way but it was just how I felt. I needed to let it out. Unlike some people I didn't hold things in.

"I'm leaving. I'll see you back at home. See y'all." I spoke, excusing myself and walking out of the front door.

"So when you gon' stop playing and let me hit that shit, Zuria?" Mitch asked while he smoked a blunt in my mother's living room and we both sat on the floor. "Let you hit this?" I asked, raising an eyebrow as I watched him blow smoke into the air. "Yeah." He smirked, cockily. "How about when you learn how to talk to your girlfriend?" I took the blunt out of this hands and smashed it on the ashtray that was on the coffee table. "Whatchu do that for?" He bit his bottom lip, leaning into me. "Hm?" He went on, softly biting my neck. "I've told you, you can't smoke in here, Mitchell." "You're really not even supposed to be here." I said to him, considering my mother did not condone boys in her house but here he was. He'd completely ignored me though as he mushed his head into my neck, leaving small kisses. "Stop." I whined playfully as he pushed himself up onto me and kissed my lips, pushing me backwards with our lips still attached. "Mitch." I spoke nervously as he climbed on top of me while I now laid my back onto the carpet. "Let me hit that shit, ma." He spoke softly into my ear as he continued leaving kisses on my neck. "Mitch, we cant. My mom will be home from work soon." I expressed to him but he ran his hands up my school skirt anyway. "Stop bitchin'." "Let me finally pop that cherry, Z." He spoke, putting his lips on mine as he slowly moved my underwear aside and rubbed his fingers against my Girl. "Mm." I moaned, unfamiliar with this feeling but it felt great. And though I knew my mother would be here soon, I no longer wanted to stop. He continued rubbing it as I laid there, looking up into his eyes. As I did, he smirked down at me and I smiled small, rubbing a hand down his cheek. I was so in love with this boy.

"How dare you fucking disobey me," He grits his teeth clenching his fists while glaring at me. "Please let me go, I promise I won't say anything to anyone," I beg tears sliding down my cheeks slowly backing away from him. "Didn't I make myself clear already? You will never escape from here." My heart sinks down to my stomach. Anger quickly rising making me splutter two words I'd soon would regret. "FUCK YOU!," I scold. "What did you just say?," he grumbles his chocolate brown eyes three shades darker almost looking black. I gasp, as my back hits the wall watching him close in on me. I try to curve to the side, but he immediately closes me in by stretching both of his arms out. His hands firmly flat against the wall. "Repeat what you just said to me Madison," he evilly mutters his eyes locked with mine. "Leo please," I mumble. "You will learn to obey me," he venomously says his hot breathe hitting my flesh near my ear. Suddenly, his large hand grips my neck tightly chocking me. Both of my hands clutches onto his hand trying to free myself from his grip. "P-pl," I struggle to say while trying to breathe. I can feel the life in me slowly slipping away. My vision starting to blur in and out of focus. Leo suddenly lets go of my neck and I helplessly drop to the floor gasping for air like a fish gasps for water. I can feel tears sliding down my cheeks as I realize my life could have ended in the hands of this handsome murderer. "Recognize who you are speaking to. No one, I mean no one ever disrespects Leo Castillo, leader of The Red Eagles!", he firmly says his cold eyes glaring down at me. I stay silent completely mute. My body trembling from pure fear scared to say anything that might upset him again. Leo turns his heel walking out of the room locking it from the outside leaving me in shock of what just happened. Highest rank #27 in Teen Fiction. Written by @apricitys. _ _ _ "What is this?" He asked, not even bothering to look at the canvas in front of me. Instead, his eyes were locked in mine. I swallowed my saliva, chills running down my spine. I felt my palms getting sweaty as my legs nervously started bouncing up and down. Without giving me time to answer, he took a step closer to me, eyes still locked in mine. Each time he inched closer, I used my right foot to slowly push myself and the stool back. It seemed to be the only option to get away from him; until he forced his hands below the sides of my thighs, holding the stool in place. He released a soft chuckle as he eyed me from my eyes, down to my lips. "You're beautiful," he said. From his voice, I couldn't tell if he was being serious, or messing around. It sounded sincere, however there was a smirk on his face. The smirk that he always has on his face when he's found an amusing target. Then he averted his attentions back to my eyes. His expressions softened up the moment his eyes landed back on mine. His smirk disappeared. I cleared my throat and broke the eye contact. I looked down at my palms as I rubbed the sweat against my jeans, "What do you want, Landon?" I asked, almost whispering. I felt his hand brushing against my right cheek, as he tilts my chin up to look back at him. His messy brown hair, his light blue eyes and his pink soft lips were just centimeters from mine. I felt his breath lingering on the upper tip of my lip. In a panic, I pressed my palms against his chest and push him off. He stumbled back with a surprised look on his face. "Aubrey." _ _ _ Landon Carthy is an arrogant boy, who knowns to have absolutely no care in the world. Making girls suffer feels great to him. What Doesn't Kill You

11 parts Complete Mature

Everyone had a reason for their actions, right? Todd had made the mistake of thinking he understood Black and using that knowledge against him. He'd compounded that mistake by underestimating him. But when he left the hospital, a little worse for wear, the only person willing to stand by him was Black. It made no sense. It was in Black's best interest to walk away and never look back. Instead, he stuck close to Todd. Too close if he was honest. Proximity could breed all kinds of things Todd wasn't ready for. He might have appreciated the care and consideration but when it moved beyond that, to something far more intimate, Todd had to figure out what he wanted before he was swept up in whatever game Black was playing. His life depended on it. -Excerpt- "It doesn't matter if I care or not. It matters that I'm here." He said with the same disinterest he showed in everything. "If you look around, you'll notice, there's nobody else here." "So what? You'll make sure I'm comfortable before you smother me with a pillow?" "Did it ever occur to you that if I wanted you dead, you'd be dead?" "Yeah." That's why none of this made any sense. It made me even more uncomfortable than my broken bones and bruised body. Leaving me floundering when he refused to offer any explanation. Published: 23 January - 3 February 2023
