The 1st of October starts off like any other day until a small boy begins showcasing some rather strange abilities. Soon hundreds of people a day start becoming infected by a strange assortment of powers. Fear and panic spread across the country as the government tries to deal with the inflicted. As if 2020 couldn't get any worse!
Check out this anthology of 31 Short Stories and poems based off my own randomised prompts. All stories and poems are set within the same larger story so be sure to keep an eye out for nods to other parts of this collection.

Mayday - A Romantic Thriller
"God, I am just so sorry..." Ella wants nothing more than to get away and start her own life, but she's learned the hard way that we don't always get the things we want. Desperate to find an apartment, she has been saving up and working all the hours she can get. At twenty years old, her parents introduced her to a new member of the family, her adopted brother. She has yet to adjust to the new company and has put herself on the fast track to finally having a life she can call her own. In celebration of one whole year under the same roof, her family books a twelve day cruise in hopes that a stress free trip will encourage some much needed bonding.
