Irene arrives in New York when the wizarding world is worried about the disappearance of the dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald. She joins Newt Scamander and Jacob Kowalski after an incident in Central Park Zoo and ends in the middle of the fight between good and evil.
The start of the story takes place in Fantastic Beasts and where to find them and develops into Crimes of Grindelwald while sometimes straying from the movies.
