After his parents are killed in a car crash, Emmett's world completely changes. How is he supposed to balance grief, school, and his autistic sister's care?

Grant, son of a local senator, is struggling with his trans identity. If he comes out, every newspaper in the city will print about it. How will his parents take it?

Djalma is always cheerful at school, but at home, he and his father butt heads about everything. Without Grant and Emmett, he's not sure what he'd do.

GENRE: Slice of life, but, like, with comic book realism.

Kill or Tell

15 parts Complete

"I know you killed them," I whisper, my eyes glued to the floor as I twiddle my thumbs. "Well then, are you going to turn me in?" I bite my lip, unsure of myself. "I don't know." I look up, tensing at our eye contact. "But I don't want to." _____________________________ Once upon a time, there were four friends with disfunctional families and a bond of friendship that was based precariously on stilts of divorce, neglect, and self hatred. One day, one of those friends went and died. One day, one of those friends lost their mind. One day, one of those friends embraced who the truly were. One day, one of those friends got torn in two. And things were never the same again.
