It's the end of the world. A flood is coming. Luckily for Dave and his son Finny, a couple of clumsy Nestrians, an Ark has been built to save all animals. But as it turns out, Nestrians aren't allowed. Sneaking on board with the "involuntary help" of Hazel and her daughter Leah, two Grymps, they think they're safe. Until the curious kids fall off the Ark. Now Finny and Leah struggle to survive the flood and hungry predators and attempt to reach the top of a mountain, while Dave and Hazel must put aside their differences, turn the Ark around and save their kids. It's definitely not going to be smooth sailing.

[Note: This story is not mine it belongs to Global Screen and Ulysses. I'm doing this so people can read this if they can't buy the DVD version or the movie on YouTube... Please don't hurt meh.]

Nerissa Maeve Jackson. Also known as Nissa. She is the twin sister of Perseus "Percy" Jackson. We all know what happened to him. But what about the early years? No doubt Percy experienced an interesting childhood with his doting mother and later his stinky stepfather Gabe. But Nerissa's tale began differently, her childhood full of obstacles and achievements, travels and deals, fights and speeches, friends and foes. Nerissa built a name for herself from the ground up. She might eventually come under the attention of her own family, the Olympians. But for now, while she was hidden from them, she would achieve her goals. Nexus Enterprises. No matter what. (Slight multifandom/pjo but through the series will hopefully be pjo-centric. Disclaimer: I don't own the normal characters, that belongs to their individual stories/creators, I only own my own peeps and my plot. I also don't intend any disrespect or harshness in any mythology I depict, I respect them all very much but have things in certain situations for the sake of the plot. From what I've checked, it's overall pretty decent.) A Series of Embarrassing Monsters: The Misadventures of Evangeline by Galactica_Writes
26 parts Ongoing
Abandoned by the famous novelist who gave birth to her, Evangeline is being raised in a trailer park by a scruffy cat who smells like burnt toast, and the wind-up chambermaid (with key and torsion spring built-in) who found her in a laundry hamper. The teen years of a misunderstood artistic genius are tough. Her dreams of becoming a writer got quashed in infancy, and she only manages to earn a few crumbs of approval after she pivots to ballet. Too bad they come from Miskomin, the cheeky liar who lives a few doors down. As Evangeline's adolescence unfolds, the appearance of an unexpected competitor erodes her burgeoning self-confidence, and a predatory artistic director attempts to rewrite her entire world. Her desperate reactions to these influences and her subsequent return to storytelling bring her inner demons to life. Literally. Eager to master herself, Evangeline tackles a series of monsters, operates a murderous sewing machine, and befriends a sentient doll. Her misadventures help unearth latent abilities and force her relationship with neighbour and frenemy, Miskomin, to undergo a surprising evolution. As her creative journey unfolds, Evangeline gains the understanding and experience she needs to face the final boss: Herself. Will she learn to look beyond the artist she wants to be and accept the person she is? *I'm writing this novel as I go. This is a rough draft. I update every Friday evening Eastern Time. **Note regarding chapter images: AI is devastating the environment. Instead of continuing to use it to generate chapter images, I thought it would be fun to instead post non-ai images created by fans and digital artists eager to promote their work. Interested in contributing? Contact me via Discord: bjorkobirka. Artwork will be credited to the artist, and I can share the artist's contact information if desired. PG images only. Thank you!! I very much hope this story finds the readers it resonates with. Shout-out to my fellow weirdos!! Happy reading!

(Please read the description before reading the book!!!!!) ***This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, events, incidents, etc. are products of the author's imagination. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental*** (No, seriously. I noticed after publishing that there were lots of similarities between elements of this work and other things. I didn't notice this until after I released it permanently, otherwise I would have changed it while I had the chance. Anyway, just putting it out there...) When a dangerous storm hits the American West, Finn, the squirrel, finds himself stuck in the middle of the storm; his home destroyed and his parents gone. But after he rescues a small foal, who he names Warren, from the flood waters of the storm, they become instant friends and companions for life. Ten years later, a crime is attempted in the town, and it was up to Finn and Warren to put an end to it. They are rewarded and praised for taking action, but not everyone is happy with this. In doing so, the pair makes new enemies who are willing to do whatever it takes to stop them. Now, Finn and Warren must team up to fight against their new enemies, while trying to protect their hometown from future crime and evil; but not without a few surprises along the way. Note that this is a book series mainly for perhaps younger/slightly older kids, though almost anyone can read it; but please note that this book touches onto some darker topics/themes suitable for older kids at least. Also, pardon the grammatical/structural errors, as well as how cringe-worthy it is; I wrote this at a young age and I'm copying this from my book... I expect the re-write to be much better than this first story, if I get around to it. Highest Rankings- #360 in General Fiction #63 in Kidsbook

There is an unexpected turn in the story that drastically changes the course of events and, in the long run, even the lives of those involved. Magpie, the first to be involved, suddenly finds himself in the world so unlike his own. Will he find his place there or will he be at least able to go back home? He seems to find his way back from this new world of giga-dimensions but something unwanted happens, and things go worse. The cultural differences, together with a challenging personality traits of another involved in the events, suck Magpie and his friends into a downward spiral. The story challenges you to see the world differently from the perspective you are perhaps too used to and narrowed by. Life can be an adventure if you don't narrow it with a bigotry that forces you to be rooted in your trenches and behind your dividing walls. This doesn't mean you have to accept others' views without standing your ground. However, to be able to share our lives in this one and only world we need to make compromises, on both sides. Are you the first brave one to set this positive trend in motion? So read on and let the foundation of the story be laid. From the end of episode 1 on, the story really picks up, finally reaching its climax at the end of episode 3 with quite a surprising finish. Your participation in solving this shared challenge of coexistence and cooperation is highly appreciated. Remember those who cooperate make more progress than those who don't! The ideal audience for my first book is actually between 12 and 16, but anybody older and interested in adventures, cultures and in getting more understanding into our multifaceted world is sure to enjoy the story. (The whole story has now been published, the only thing I'll still add is the final epilogue but the story is already available in its entirety.)
