I'm average, and that's okay. Until one day, everything changes, and I'm no longer the same. I almost died. They say I'm lucky, but they couldn't be more wrong. Because, who's lucky to watch someone die? Now, the memories haunt me, and I wonder if I'll ever get my chance to escape this town. Mac is trying to help, but he didn't see the shooting, and I worry he no longer sees a future with us. Now I'm trying to fight for the people I love, and see if I can escape death in the eyes, a second time. Maybe...I'm not so average after all.

My life is boring and simple, I'm a normal teenager, who's lived in the same town since I was a kid. Then a crazed man with a gun comes to my high school, and everything changes. I meet her from this tragedy. She's taken though, but that doesn't stop our connection from growing. But as quickly as she comes into my life she's taken away from me just as fast.
