The mark, all marks everyone's mark everywhere her whole life Reese had been hiding the fact she doesn't have one. A mark to show who your soulmate is, when you turn 16 right above your wrist you will find a small tattoo unlike any other except one person who has the same mark. Your sole mate but when the government finds out that Reese and others have no mark they put them through a Series of test to see why they don't have marks.
