Cosmos

I'm looking up at the stars thinking bout how someone is watching the sunrise. I cant help but feel this pull from the other side of the spectrum like another half of me missing and its too far from my reach. Spread across the map out of my soul that directions werent made for. points in a constellation held together by something unseen yet holds a great deal of meaning. Why must their be so much beauty in the things our eyes dont see? Why must we want what we dont have here in this moment? Why must we look past the present like its an undeserved gift? There is so much that lies before us we just forgotten to rest with it. Always to busy looking, for the greener grass. Only to get lost, in the muddy depths of our own thoughts. We can search infinitely outside of ourselves to encounter the person that holds all that we look for. Or we find that the infinite lies within us, in both directions. You just have to find your center. Im looking up at the stars, remembering they are also a sun.
