Fate. • Michael B. Jordan
At twenty-four, Amiri is carrying more than most, her own ambitions in one hand and her three-year-old niece in the other. She's determined to keep her life steady, controlled, and focused on the future she's building. Love, in her mind, is a distraction she can't afford. Michael has everything the world tells him should be enough: success, recognition, influence. But beneath it all, he's restless, searching for something that doesn't come with scripts or headlines. When their paths cross, the pull between them is undeniable, complicated, magnetic, and impossible to ignore. But with ambition, secrets, and the weight of responsibility pressing in on both sides, neither of them is sure if what's sparking between them is a blessing...or a disaster waiting to happen.
