Percy has faced many things in life. Heartbreak was not one of them. He left his old life behind not knowing what was installed for him. Being an immortal nineteen-year-old living out in the universe - yes, space - was a tough and interesting choice.
He finds what was once impossible, now possible. Good and evil are just labels to define what is or is not right and loving someone can have unexpected responsibilities.
No one ever said being an immortal demigod was easy.
