Lorena is stranded in the middle of a dessert, but she has no idea how she arrived there. Her car is disabled, her food and water are scanty, and the sun is baking her skin. If she would have known traveling to her friends house would have been this precarious, she would have stayed home. But despite her current circumstance, she decides to trek the wilderness in search of answers to the many questions she keep asking herself. How did she get to this place? Where, in fact, is here? How can she get home?
She then meets Tucker, who informs her that she is in a Nevada desert, but what's worse, she's also found herself in the year 2225.
After arriving in a small town called Lonely, Nevada, Lorena is determined to figure out how she arrived here and if she can get back home. But her adventure is not as easy as it seems, as she encounters brainless scientists and a broken, angry people whose ancestors once inhabited North America with no fear or restrictions.All Rights Reserved

There's mystery's that need solving, teenager-high school problems, dating through an awkward time in your life (relatable), and learning to cope with siblings, especially siblings that can't stay out of trouble and constantly start fires.
