"Can I tell you something?" he asked looking down at Mae, eyeing her like pray. Mae could feel an anxiety attack form in her throat. "S-sure." Mae choked out looking at the ground, something she did when she was scared. "Little one, my eyes are up here," he said but more shocking was when he used his finger to lift her head. Locking her grey almost silver eyes with his blue ones.
