The next generation of earth's people has evolved with the communication with the universe. With the ever changing tech and with aliens of all cultures affecting the earth. We had many lanquages, skills of all kinds now able to effect our new earth. But, now that the galra empire is no more, and has now elected a new ruler. As the universe is safe, most of today's teen are more confused than ever. But with the universe as the main frontier of their future. Many schools have gotten tougher. But as we meet a squad of best friends who are all so different. But as we see once the lions of voltron vanished about thirty years ago and the stories told in history classes. This gang of friends reach towards the stars. In the process finding new friends, new worlds, and finding a stranger who instills a new threat. As they gain a new friend and forged the lions as the next voltron paladins against an unknown threat. The voltron team must see if history got it right as they try to forge a new bond, as they see if they are up to the task. Or will they break under the legacy of the former paladins, or will the threat be more confusing than the past history could ever be.

All the same they were her best-friends at the Garrison. Sadly, Shiro went missing during his mission to Kerberos and she was left devastated. She dropped out of the Garrison and Keith followed. She told him she was leaving and he agreed to follow her. He'd sworn to Shiro he'd watch out for her before he left. And so, they went off to live in the dry desert. Every night while Keith was sleeping, she would go outside and look up at the stars and hope Shiro would return. Her wish was granted. But something very unexpected came along with it. The legendary defender of the universe has gotten 5 new paladins to fight the new threat of the galaxy. All five are different and unique, none know the dangers they are going to face. Knowing that they are the universes last hope, will they be able to put their differences aside and form Voltron? Will they be able to save the universe? We do not own the show Voltron Legendary Defenders nor the characters from that show. We have made our own characters for this while using the original from the show. Not everything is exactly as it is in the show, we've changed a few things to better suit us. This is just a fun story idea we created a few years ago and are still currently writing. Although Voltron is a children's show this book will cover heavy topics and will have offensive swearing (that includes swearing). This is book one of four.

You are the perfect person, so you pilot that Lion. You are very happy to see Shiro, after 3 years. You had actually going to the Garrison before Shiro went missing. Afterwards, you had become a rogue rescuer for him. That's how you got taken by the Galra. But, at the same time, you find a liking to Lance. And this changed him: from a flirt-with-every-girl kind of guy into a one-girl kind of guy. He becomes really close to you and begins to spend all of his time with you. You make him forget any other person, as if you were the only one in the world to him. And he takes a lot of affection to you. After a while, you both grow nearer and nearer to each other. But once the Galra attack, the Paladins have no idea if they can win or not. You make a choice. One that could change the team forever...

However, as soon as they land on the ground, the leader of the Ibhe Htua, Pedagogue Tuaste, tells them that they did a good job, but there's a lot to learn before they even have a hope of defeating Zarkon and his evil empire. Grudgingly, they accept her offer to train them. However, a new threat to the universe arises soon after they land on Toumia, one that is completely unrelated to Zarkon and the Galra Empire. One of the many societies on the planet with purple grass has developed a way to help the universe, but the Voltron Team knows that this will do anything but help the universe, and that they must stop it at all costs. Together, the five Paladins make up Voltron, Defender of the Universe. And what do defenders of the universe do? They defend it. * * * The timeline for this fanfiction within seasons 1-2 of VLD are unknown, for reasons that will be clear by the end of this particular fanfiction. As such, the characters will know how to do certain things, and not know other things. Because of this, there will be spoilers for some things but not others, and seeing as this happens somewhere within the spacetime between the episodes of seasons 1 and 2. It's weird. Hang with me, it'll all make sense by chapter sixteen. Maybe fifteen. I haven't written that far out yet.
