Because of Me (Jeff X BEN)

Jeff couldn't believe his eyes. Could it be?
No, of course not. Jeff had to be hallucinating. There couldn't be any possible way that it was him for sure. He drowned, Jeff saw it. He saw his lifeless body floating in the water. He remembered not getting a response. He remembered the pain in his heart, to see his loved one dead in his arms. The short male turned to look at the two males that ventured toward him, Jeff stopping dead in his tracks.
"BEN..?"

Three years ago Jeff had lost someone extremely close to him. He lost his best friend. His boyfriend, Ben Williams, died just a few days after Ben's little sister Sally had died. He wasn't dating Ben for long, only for about a week or two, but it still ate him from the inside out every day. Thinking of what it would be like if Ben were still around. Thinking of what it would be like if they were to spend their lives together like they planned. Thinking of what it would be like if he would have made it in time to rescue Ben before he met his demise.
