The folk of the Badlands know Wraithshot as a hero; a spirit of protection and justice.

But Caleb Raith has never seen himself that way. He's just a banged up ex-outlaw with a lot of penance left to pay off. Trudging through the desert with poison running in his blood is just his debt coming due.

Lysistrata Starborn, Chosen of Battles, only knows Caleb as a Chosen of the Unconquered Sun; a good man. After pitting him against a demon Queen to save the Badlands, Lysistrata finds him half-dead of fever, and a lot of stories left untold...

[Currently Under Editing] [New Chapter Coming Soon] Your time was ill-spent on Earth as an up and coming musician and metaphysical practitioner, whom secretively became accustomed to cannibalistic and sacrificial rituals. Your death had come early in the results of bad luck and you knew exactly where you were headed. Though this version of Hell was not what you were expecting. More shockingly, you did not sound or look like yourself anymore. With a strange and mysterious guitar joining you in spawn, stringed by the same strings you had once created with the remains of a lover from the past, you see to utilize it as your key for surviving Hell. But not only do you survive your first day in Hell, you rock it's seven rings to near destruction with a musical outburst heard all the way up to Heaven! Heaven and Hells hierarchy labels you a weapon, radical occultist worship you, and Hell's denizens want concert tickets for your next "show". With overlords and mafia gangs after your alliance (forced or not) you find wary trust in no other than the Vee's. You make a simple agreement, you work under them for six months and during that time you decide whether you want to sign their contract selling your soul to the three most powerful sinners in the Pride Ring. Dryad's Wrath: The Riftkey Chronicles Book 1

21 parts Complete

The Deadlands, a twisted, obsidian scar on the land, is the result of humans' misuse of Dryad magic, and is home to a host of deadly wraiths and unexplained horrors. Calen is one of very few willing to brave the dangers that lurk there to get at the vast knowledge hidden within. Many mages die there, and new names are added to the List of the Lost almost daily. The most recent name, Kiriya, sets a lump in Calen's throat. A student of his during his time as an instructor at the Academy, Kiriya strove to emulate Calen in every way, hoping to become just like him. In doing so, she also emulated Calen's bad habit of going spell hunting in the Deadlands alone. Only, unlike Calen, she hasn't come back. The Dryads, immensely powerful and normally gentle creatures, have ventured out of their forests as they do every few centuries to check on the land and its inhabitants. They have seen the Deadlands, have realized their mistake in giving the gift of magic to humans. Calen is caught between searching for signs of his lost student and surviving the Dryads' wrath as the two factions of Dryads decide whether or not to erase humanity from existence.
