DATA SCIENCE: TECHNOLOGY FOR STUDY OF DATA

As the world evolved year after year, data also increased and eventually entered into the world of big data and so the need for more storage and managing it was a major challenge and in fact it is still a challenge. In order to overcome this challenge, a technology that involves the study of data, Data Science was introduced. One main problem that we were concerned was how to deal and accommodate such huge data that keeps increasing every minute. To solve this, technology called cloud computing came into existence and hence the problem concerning the storage was resolved. Another major challenge that came up was the processing of data. Handling this task will always be a challenge and needs constant improvement of this technology. This requires more and more of data scientists to work on data related problems. However, this requires great exposure to the data on a practical basis.
Applications of data science-
Data science is the study of data. Data can be found everywhere. There is no such field where there is no use of data. Here are some of the fields where data science is most applicable.
Health care industry- health care uses many artificial intelligence concepts which are complex enough for computations and analysis. Patient's previous test observation to the present one should be analyzed. Records of the number of patients who are admitted and their respective doctors appointed. X-ray imaging is one of the main application where data science is used. It detects for any abnormal pattern in the image and returns the result for notice.
Gaming- games have a vast amount of data present under it. The graphics modules, rules, storage, etc. is a part of data. Data analytics plays a major role. Example of this could be a chess board game which analyses the next move.
