With Mia (Mamacito), Brooklyn and Alex mom in the hospital with Cancer, the family struggle to put a penny in the cookie jar. In order to keep Alex and Brooklyn's school, and social services out of suspicion, that she is struggling, she gets a job at her neighborhood bodega.She tries too make money to put on the table, to eat, and get clothes for her and her brother. When she finds that she isn't getting paid enough she finds only one option left--- "living in New York City Streets, it aint hard to find a client" she starts to sell herself. Soon family tradegy strikes, and now Brooklyn and Alex dont know what to do
