"So what has my dear brother so locked up?" Poseidon asked curiosity evident in his tone. Persephone rolled her eyes filing her nails diligently, "Why should I tell you?" Poseidon walked closer to her but the girl didn't flinch but she did watch him wearily, he raised his hand to her throat, "Ahh ahh ahh," she tsked, "we both know just how short tempered your brother is, and how much he doesn't appreciate people touching his things." Poseidon's hand dropped back down to his side and he gave Persephone a smirk, "I suppose you are right, but you do admit something is eating up his time." Persephone's smile dropped for a second and Poseidon knew he was going to get what he wanted. "Not something, some-ONE." She finally sighed out. "Do I detect a hint of jealousy?" "As if I would be jealous of a lowlife mortal women." she spat before snapping her mouth shut, Hades was going to kill her Poseidon frowned. "Mortal?" Poseidon asked smile creeping on his face, "Oh this is just too perfect, does this mortal women have a name?" "I would assume she would but Hades doesn't let anyone near her nor does he talk about her." Poseidon narrowed his eyes, "I think Hades is calling fro me." "One last question, is this mortal woman more beautiful then you-" Persephone sucked and a breath and turned around. "Willow has nothing compared to me." "Willow, a beautiful name sound so earth-like." There was no questioning it Hades was going to kill her and Poseidon was going to do something to Willow. Persephone has already been kidnapped by Hades, her unwanted and unexpected suitor. Demeter has already cast a famine on all the humans in her grief. Hades struggles to win Persephone over...but perhaps Persephone has always been meant to be with him, and she wasn't an innocent as she was thought she was... Moderate explicit parts. *not finished* "Look, Persephone, you're a reasonable Goddess, more reasonable than most. You have to understand I was not born the Lord of the Underworld. The title was appointed to me because I was the unlucky one. My job is just as important as my brother's jobs. I wasn't selected because of my cruel ways but now because of the way people speak of me and fear me now I am the cruel one whether or not I like it. Do you honesty think it is fair that it should work that way? People take one look at me and assume I'm the devil." Persephone crouches back in her seat. I realize I am standing and seat myself, trying to calm myself. "Do you honestly think that being in charge of the dead and judging them makes me undeserving of love, of a wife? I'm doomed to be exiled down here. I don't even have the sun to keep me warm, Persephone. You're all the sun I have..." *This story is also not meant to be factually accurate, and is simply an interpretation of the story.
