Cleo grabbed Jinafire's wrist and hurried away, wanting to put as much distance between them and Heath as possible. "That was Heath Burns. You're better off ignoring him. Everyone else does."

___

Monster High student Heath Burns has not had any luck with his love life. The ghoul he is chasing after brushes him off constantly. His classmates treat him as nothing other than an annoying jokester, and when they aren't doing that, they're ignoring him. He just wants someone to take him seriously. Someone who will listen to him.
Jinafire Long is better at handling schoolwork than handling friends. For so long she has been focused on her studies, but that all changes when she goes to New Salem as a transfer student. At her temporary home she attends Monster High, where a certain student catches her eye and she doesn't know what to do.H
