A young girl has been found dead in the river that cuts through the small town. Only a few months later a vivacious mother had suffered the same fate, both of the women connected. Although they weren't the only ones of the water.

Janette Andrews has gone through a grueling divorce, and is left to raise her five year old daughter alone. All in the same is the detective assigned to the case involving the murders of many women.
