Am I Human?

Jodie Lucas is the only survivor of the tragedy that rocked her small, suburban neighborhood ten years ago. The police had determined it was the work of an occultist group that had chosen the family at random, but Jodie knew the truth. She had killed her own family.

Now, she is being recruited by an organization that had a hand in the coverup of her family's murder. She has no idea why they want her, aside from the fact that she's not exactly human. There were still a lot of questions she had, but the biggest one of all was what exactly was she?

She needed all the essentials that humans needed, but she had a tendency to find herself craving something more. It was as if there was a bloodlust inside of her that needed to be satiated every few months.

Things only seemed to become more and more strange as they organization sent her to a new school, where she finds that one of the students isn't who he says he is. He too isn't human, but he's totally different from Jodie. His name? Micah Stevens.

Jodie wants to learn more about this boy who seems so much like her, yet so different at the same time. She befriends him, hoping to learn his secrets before a rash of disappearances at the school happen. All signs point to her newfound friend, but could there be another explanation? Will Jodie expose Micah as the abductor, or will she find that the answer isn't as cut and dry as it may seem?
