Romance
A short story based on an incident that happened to me. I write when I get overly emotional so here's a little look into my life. I promise I'm not this dramatic ALL the time. P.S; Names have been changed. A recap; A few years ago I had just gotten out of a serious relationship and met this guy at work. We became friends and eventually we ended up becoming a thing. We would flirt and hangout outside of work, then to my surprise as he's KISSING ME, his phone rings. I look at it and its a picture of a girl with hearts next to her name. Then it clicks, I knew there was no way this incredibly cute guy was single, it was too good to be true. The girl calling was his GIRLFRIEND who I had no idea existed. She found out, he blamed me, and now I'm the bad guy. End of story

"You rejected me!! Not the other way around!!" I yelled at him, tears streaming down my face. "I know." He says, he head hangs low. "And I'm sorry. I should never have rejected you." He went to take my hands into his but I turned away from him. Tears were still going down my face. How could he, after all this time, have the nerve to come here. He knew that he had hurt me. Now he is sorry and wants me back? No. "Please. Believe me. I messed up big time! I didn't know what I had until it was gone!" He said. I heard every word. They cut through the wall of my heart and placed themselves on it . It hurt. But what he did to me had hurt even more. "That's right. You screwed up. Consider me lost." I said. Then I walked away.
