Glinda Arduenna-Upland is in her second semester at Shiz University. She is bored of her usual circles. So, when she hears of a punk rock band on campus that needs a lead guitar, she decides to try out. She meets their lead singer, the suave, mysterious and slightly spooky Fae. That voice haunts her dreams, and not just because of Fae's natural charisma. In a way, Fae reminds her of her roommate, the weird, nerdy, mostly silent green girl, Elphaba Thropp. She feels as though the two are related. Because, for obvious reasons, the truth eludes her.
