Two girls, entwined by fate, attend Hogwarts. The trials both will face are unpredictable, and neither will emerge unharmed. Valerie rules Slytherin alongside Draco Malfoy, and her magical abilities are rumoured to rival those of He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named. Celeste is a Hufflepuff, but she is not to be underestimated. Her nightmares of fear and agony are not all they seem. During their fifth year at Hogwarts, the two witches struggle with the changes being wreaked on their precious school. Valerie finds herself enrolled in a tournament of death, and no one can quite explain why. Celeste's life is turned upside down by her new dreams, and she keeps seeing things that terrify her to her bones.
