This story takes place 5 years before "The Power You Possess." It is the story of how Braken met the Hellian family and why he works with them now.
This story is also the one I am working on for National Novel Writing month! I probably won't get to 50,000 words, but I'm hoping to at least get to 20,000 by the end of November.

I was falling, cascading into the dark chasm of sin and desire. I was unhinged, wild and free, giving in to everything I wanted. I would not hold back tonight. A few seasons ago, I participated in NaNoWriMo with the goal of writing a story a day for the entire month of November. I was able to do this and ended up with well over 50,000 words for the month. This book ended up with around 43K words, but it is missing a few stories. I didn't want to put anything that goes with "Pearls of the Mother" in the "Illogies." Each day I sat down to write, I had a different mood or something else I was thinking about, and I let that guide my writing process.
