"Interost"- it is a word doesn't exist in standard English. The author makes it up by combining the word "internet" and "ghost". "Interost" refers one kind of ghosts who were dead committed suicide due to cyber-bullying. They stay on the internet and watch everything people doing online. There are good interosts and bad interosts. Good interosts protect cyber-bullying victims, help them recover and sometimes punish the bullies. Bad interosts help bullies or become bullies themselves to hurt more people. Neutral interosts are there, too. They just wandering around and see what is new there.
