Dani Forks. A senior in High school who is bullied by her peers. Dani would stick up for herself except for two things. They won't listen and she's mute by choice. She was taught at a young age that her voice didn't matter to the peers that she has grown up with. This is her last year that she has to deal with them and she is happy about that.
Jace Waters. The moat cliche popular guy in those stupid books you would read online and Dani thinks he may have read one too many. Jace has been bullying Dani for as long as she can remember and he doesn't think he actually hurts her even when he gets physical with her. He thinks she's like him. Not human. He soon finds out that there is more to this girl.
Now. Add the gang that Dani led when she had to move away, her real identity that her family hid from her that's finally venturing into the light, and her secret identity as a talk radio host that's secretly broadcasted from her bedroom. Well its all over the place and Dani can't get a break.

He hates people who bully others for things that can't be changed- such as sexual orientation or race- especially after having experienced it himself for being asexual/aromantic.
