The neighborhood of QueensLand Park has received some grim news, yet they are too preoccupied with their own lives to even care. Margot, a mother of a young boy, Louis, is a somber woman who is drowning in her life. Vera, an old widow feels lonesome after the death of her loving husband. Dr. Luther has just set up a new office in his townhouse, after divorcing his wife. And, finally Rose, a journalist yearning for her new break. All these people have two things in common, they all live in the surroundings of QueensLand Park, and they all have one secret.
She thought she was in control-until the voice in her head spoke back. Strange gaps in her memory, unexplained wealth, and a growing sense of unease make her question what's happening to her. But the more she tries to hold on to her life, the more it slips away.
As she searches for answers, she realizes she's not alone in her own body. And whoever is sharing it with her has no intention of letting go.
