Sit still, look pretty, Mari repeats inside her head. She is called the "Goddess", anyway. But underneath? She doesn't feel pretty. But add some makeup, a dress, and boom-she's another person. But she doesn't want to be popular, with the worst diva in school, Clarissa. She just wants to have an actual friend, you know? You get bored of gossip after a while. But her parents don't know. For all she knows, they're dead. But that's not the worst part-Mari has powers. And she hasn't even began to know what to do with them!
"It's just another day of school," she said. "You'll just teach," she said. But it's not just like that, not this year. There's something going on in her class. Something...out of place. And as she rubbed her sore eyes, Ms. Evelyn Dasinger thought what an ordinary day at school would actually be like. And now that's changed. But on top of that, she has superstitions about her boyfriend. He's been acting weird lately, and for what?

This is a Nick Armstrong fanfic because I absolutely love him! He definitely deserved more screen time. He was by far my favorite character and I cried when he died both times. It was so sad. I wish this show would of came out with a second season. Her mother never told her that witches were meant to have a circle. Violet was alone. She got her magic from her mother. Her father never really spoke of the subject. Nick Armstrong was among one of her new witchy friends. He was the teenage boy who "dated" almost all the girls at his school. He never cared for a relationship. He was rude and disrespectful. He was also a bit mysterious and a challenge. Violet was very intrigued. He, too, lost his parents. When Violet falls for her new school's "bad boy" what will she do?
