Kikyo Rivera, a 15-year-old who just wants to become a hero. Well, life has other plans for her. Kikyo was born in a world of quirks and soulmate tattoos. No one has the same one and you only have one soulmate. Well, for those who want to be with their soulmate that is. Nonetheless, she tries to lead a normal life, at least until she gets into U.A.'s Hero Course.
*Note: Brands, shows, movies, etc will be changed cause I ain't trying to deal with that. Also, this story will mention some themes that may be triggering to others, I will let you know beforehand on these certain chapters. There will be cursing as well.*

[Inspired by @azreto's AU on tumblr] Soulmates don't discover their significant other until the age of 18. Difficult for most but never stopped many's desires. Young Izuku accepted his fate of being quirkless and didn't push that path any further. He discovered that his love for heroes and protecting people can be pursued in a different career choice that he decided to go into the medical field. As he spends his last year in middle school still being picked on by the devilish Katsuki. He knew he didn't want to leave things on bad terms. But sadly he didn't get that happy farewell from middle school to high school since the two parted. They lost their connection together until a brief connection in texts before his flight to his new future to be in the medical field and become a true hero. One without the quirks. Something that gives you hope in finding the partner that fate chose for you. But is it a blessing, or a curse? At the age of 17, every teen receives a mark located on either their wrist or palm. This mark represents the person fate had chosen for them since they were born. Each and every mark is special, not one mark is like another. The design of the mark depends on both the soulmates eyes and quirk. The color is a exact replica of their soulmates eye color. And the shape and idea of the mark is dependent on their quirk. The amount of detail the mark has shows how good their mental health is. Say someone has a extremely breathtaking mark, absolutely stunning. Their soulmate is in mental agony. The more beautiful the mark, the more hurt their soulmate is. Not only will they have a mark connecting them to their soulmate, they can also feel each other's pain. Once both people turn 17, which can take years saying their could be a large age gap, they both can feel the physical pain something could inflict on them. Say one of them breaks their arm, the other wouldn't have a broken arm as well, they would simply be feeling the exact same amount of pain the other is feeling. It's a extremely scary part of having a soulmate since they would be able to feel if their soulmate is being beat but wouldn't be able to do anything about it. Izuku Midoriya is both excited for having a soulmate but also mortified to have one. The boy is abused on the daily and cuts extremely often. The idea of having someone share that pain with him haunts him every night. But it also gives him hope. Hope that someone is out there that could help him get out of the terrible cycle he has begun. However, something else effects daily life as well; Everyone's vision is in black and white. It's not until you meet your soul mate does your ability to see color activate. Along with that, everyone has the ability to communicate with their soulmates by writing on themselves. Katsuki Bakugou doesn't really care enough to meet his soulmate. He's fine with seeing in black and white for the rest of his life. However, his soulmate is rather persistent, writing to him everyday. Bakugou wishes he didn't have a soulmate. Eijirou Kirishima wants nothing more than to find his soulmate. Living in an abusive household where no one has cared for him his whole life, all he wants is to be held by someone he loves; specifically his soulmate. He writes to his soulmate everyday, but never gets an answer. At this point, it seems like he doesn't have a soulmate. Everyone has a soulmate. The only way to figure out who your soulmate is involves a certain type of currency that can only be earned by actively doing good deeds. The amount of points a person has can be seen above their head always. It only disappears once the soulmates have confronted the other. 17 year old Eijirou decided to finally spend his points after years of never truly trying to seek out his soulmate, but it comes with a great mental tole that he's not sure he can handle. Bakugou hadn't ever spent his points, and quite frankly, he didn't have very many in the first place considering that fact.
