Imagine waking up in a world you could not recognize, and responding to a name you couldn't identify with. Imagine being thrown into a whirlwind of a life, but one that didn't seem to be yours. Imagine trying to live in the ruins of a world you've never known, one with a dark past no one wants to discuss, receiving but pitiful glances and whispers all about you. Everyone seems to know everything. Everyone but you.
Dax Kruger never asked to be a part of this. His memory broken and his body exhausted, Dax wanted nothing to do with the role he was being forced into - a role he couldn't yet understand. In every corner there seemed to be lurking another mystery of some kind, prompting Dax to ask more questions but leaving him disappointed with anything but answers. The world he lives in is all that remains of a world once described as being beautiful, but one with a past that was painted black. His only crutches in this injured environment are his four similarly suffering comrades, each of whom seem to hide their pain. This isn't the life Dax could remember. Or maybe, it isn't his life at all?
Join Dax and his mates as they battle the challenges of an unknown world, seeking answers where there seems to be none. A story of retribution, horror, love, hate, sacrifice and beginnings - a true imaginative concoction for your curious mind. Humanity. It goes beyond the common definition of: "a collective group of humans". It's a sense of benevolence. One may act; 'for the sake of humanity' and there are; 'crimes against humanity'. We're supposed to be proud of the human race, yet... humans are self-destructive. A group of elite alien race came to Earth and proved once and for all that we were our own worst enemy. They weren't wrong. but it was too late. They managed to save Earth- eradicating pollution and reversing global warming but they killed anyone who got in their way and indoctrinated the rest. Those who remained revolted. World War III resulted- killing the planet. The War ended but the battle was not won. The fight continues on, despite the destroyed society and Earth we call home. It's a relentless fight between those who want the world to go back to the way it was and those who still fight to hold on to their humanity- no matter what.
