High Elven Mages and Druids of the ancient elven lands of Kaelthun came together for one reason - to save elvenkind. Kaelthun was at war with the Human Kingdoms of Teslath with four of its Kings. Several Elven kingdoms were destroyed, forcing several hands to do the unthinkable.
Six magic users gathered at the border of the Kingdom of Telessi to conjure from the darkest pit of energy - the Abyss. The six Elves created a fissure in the ground that forced a shadowy veil to erupt straight up into the air. This veil of abyssal energy completely isolated the eastern Kingdoms of Kaelthun from the rest of the continent.
The actions of those six Elves saved thousands more Elves from certain death. No one from outside of the veil can enter, but there are consequences for using such dark magic. Allowing a consistent source of Abyssal magic into the world caused the eastern part of Kaelthun to fall into an eternal night. High Elves and Lowland Elves a like became infected by the blast of abyssal magic causing them to mutate. Being exposed to so much darkness was transformative. The Elves became darker - skin tones ranging from a faint purple to a crescent grey. Hair can be several dark shades and eyes generally are silver, blue, and very rarely are black. These are Elves now call themselves Stygian Elves and it is time for a new kingdom to rise on the continent of Kaelthun.

The Lord of the Slaads-The Heart of Chaos

Rickalas, thought it would be another ordinary boring day to be a Guardian when he along with his fellow Guardians arrived at Mallace. He was very wrong. An unknown force sent him to the forgotten city of Hydra and there he stumbled upon an ancient tomb of a Slaad lord. He accidentally unlocked. Curiosity got the best of his fear as he pushed deep inside. Unknowingly he awoke one of the most vicious and cruel Slaad lords in Azurdenean history. Their chance encounter broke an illusion that altered many peoples memories. Not before he awoke the Slaad lord, Rickalas took a ring that was stolen from him. How it was inside a tomb sealed for thousands of years was beyond him. Caleb after rescuing him from the Slaad lord explained the ring belonged to the king of the Azzard a line that was broken nine hundred years ago. With all these events confusing Rickalas, Caleb advises that he seeks out the chosen one of old. One who may hold all the answers. Unknowingly to everyone that he walks amongst them all hiding in plain sight. Desperate for answers the Guardians turn to King Tirian of Fasingworld who advises them to speak to the oldest known man in the Azzard, Scabies Thesulac. The Slaad lords were on the move, plotting and planning. The world wasn't prepared for the return of Azurdenea's ancient enemy. War was coming. Death was coming. The nothing, was coming. Azriel, the spymaster of the Night Court, one of the most powerful Illyrians to walk Prythian. He was damaged, he was broken, and he thought himself evil. He found solace in his darkness and in his shadows. Gwyneth Berdara, a priestess in the library after a horrific event left her scarred. She had finally learned to come out of her shell, as she and her found family of Nesta and Emerie began training to be Valkyries. They were unlikely friends, and yet they found themselves becoming close with one another, almost as if they were drawn together, and it was out of their control. A year has passed since Seren Marzena returned to the Night Court with her mate, Azriel. Their time of rest is coming to an end. Plans long kept silent are now being enacted. All across Prythian, threats are revealing themselves. The three Mortal Queens have returned and pledged their allegiance to Koschei, an ancient god who is determined to see Prythian crumble beneath him. Old allies are becoming new enemies as Koschei's influence spreads. He and the Queens must be defeated before they locate Prythian's most powerful artifacts. Time is running out for everyone. If the Courts cannot band together and summon their remaining allies in time, all will be lost. "Elves of the Northern Vale" A Tundrawolf Story
As happened many times in the past the Fell Ice once again charged down from the north and attacked the world in its effort to turn it into a frozen ball of ice. Only the White Magic and it's ally the Sun could stand against such a vast enemy. From their home in the Valley of the Sun the great tribe of Elves could only watch as the monumental fight unfolded. As the battle intensified and the valley became threatened the tribe separated back into their four original tribes and each made their way back to their ancestral homes. Within their Vales, behind thick stone walls and under powerful domes of magic, they were protected from the onslaught upon the earth. The Elves watched for thousands upon thousands of turns as the war raged overhead. The Fell Ice against the Sun and the White Magic were locked in a struggle lasting for an age, with neither side claiming victory as the earth was ravaged. In time the Fell Ice retreated, as it had so many times in the past. Beaten, yet not defeated, only biding it's time for the next attack. It returned to its frozen Kingdom at the Top of the World, thus ending this last Age of Ice. This time, as the earth warmed around them, the Elves remained secluded from the world in their hidden Vales. They observed from afar life returning to the lands and took stock of man becoming the dominant ones as their numbers grew and spread. As the Elves watched they felt safe and secure in their Vale strongholds. They had no idea of the danger that was about to befall them. This is a stand-alone sequel to my story "Druids Bane".Complete

The Order that united them is long gone, broken into factions known only by the sins for which they have fallen. The Houses that protected them are crumbling, falling into ruin as their members were culled down by angels and demons, as well as their own mad quest to save the world; the Pilgrimage, a vain attempt to steal into Eden and murder God himself. Soon, only the Scions will remain. Those that were left not due to merit, but because they were the last choice for being heroes. Those whose memories and minds are as damaged and eaten through as their world. Those who agreed to take on the mysterious Archons within their bodies and, through that contract, had ancient relics and rituals passed down to them. They converge onto a long forgotten neutral ground, trying to save themselves. A heroic journey through a nightmarish wonderland. A pilgrimage to God's tower, to make the world whole again.
